Payment Method

Credit card payment:
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and JCB. For JCB, please select "JCB Credit Card Payment - KOMOJU".
Payments are handled by specialized payment companies. The name of the participating store on your credit card statement may be "JapanWineClub" or "ST* ONLINE PAYMENT", or "KOMOJU" in the case of JCB.
Please check with your card company regarding the timing of credit card charges and refunds in the event of order cancellation.
Amazon Pay:
You can specify your payment and shipping address using the address and credit card information registered to your Amazon.co.jp account.
receipt:
Please let us know that you would like a receipt in the "Order Notes" field when placing your order, or by email. If you contact us by email, please be sure to include your order number.
If you pay by credit card, a receipt with the name of the person who placed the order as the payment address will be sent to your email address in PDF format. If you would like a receipt addressed to someone other than the person who placed the order, please note that it may take a few days to issue. In either case, a PDF will be sent by email.

About Cool Delivery (Chilled Yu-Pack):
  • During the summer season from May 1st to the end of September, deliveries will be made by refrigerated delivery (delivered at around 3 degrees). Please note that you cannot select regular delivery.
  • Outside of the summer season (May 1st to the end of September), you can choose between regular and refrigerated shipping. However, if we choose regular shipping at your request, we will not be able to accept returns or cancellations of wines due to spillage or deterioration in quality. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Wine is sensitive to temperature changes, so please unpack it promptly after it arrives and store it in a cool, dark place.
  • When ordering only wine goods or certain food items, please select standard shipping.
  • As a general rule, we cannot accept deliveries to delivery boxes that do not provide cooling.

*Please note that delivery to Kagoshima Prefecture, Okinawa Prefecture (including Amami Oshima), the Izu Islands, and the Ogasawara Islands may take 4 days or more depending on the area.
*Due to weather conditions and road restrictions, collection and delivery services may be temporarily suspended, and there may be delays in the delivery of your packages.
*This shop may be closed at irregular intervals. Holidays will be announced in advance on the top page of this shop. Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year*, but shipping may be delayed due to the suspension of delivery services. If you are in a hurry, please use our Amazon store.

Delivery Status:
You can view the tracking information on the courier's tracking page. It may take half a day to one business day or more for the tracking information to be reflected. It may be delayed especially if the tracking information falls on a holiday.
If the delivery company's storage period has expired:
If the product is returned to us due to reasons such as cancellation after shipping, loss of communication, refusal to receive, or long-term absence due to failure to receive the product within the storage period of the delivery company (one week from shipment), we will charge you the product price*, the shipping fee for shipping, and the shipping fee for returning the product to us. The shipping fee for returning the product will vary depending on the delivery area, and may be expensive.
*Since the returned wine cannot be sold, we will charge you the product price.

Cancellations and Returns

Changes/cancellations before product shipment:

Items can only be changed or cancelled before they are shipped.
Please contact us by email at info@japanwineclub.jp or through this inquiry form , as the response may vary depending on the shipping arrangement status.
Please let us know your order number, product name, etc.

Changes/cancellations after product shipment:

We cannot accept cancellations or changes after the product has been shipped. Please note that we cannot accept returns except for reasons attributable to our company, such as initial defects.
If you suspect that the product is damaged, dirty, or of poor quality, or if the product was delivered incorrectly due to our mistake, etc., please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product.
In the case of quality defects, we will check the condition. Please do not throw away the contents, but contact us. Please note that we cannot respond if there is no content left. In either case, we cannot respond if more than 8 days have passed since the product arrived. Also, due to the nature of the product, we cannot respond to any issues other than quality defects after opening the bottle.

Cooling off period:
Since this is a mail order site where customers place orders at their own will, the cooling-off period does not apply. Please be aware of this.
In the case of refunds to credit cards, the date of deposit will vary depending on the closing date of each card. For details, please check with your card company. The arrival date of the product will be the date on which the delivery system records that the product has been delivered. Please note that we will not be able to accept returns, etc., if you contact us 8 days or more after the product has arrived, even if the product is defective upon arrival.
Regarding the wine that arrived:
If you receive an item that is different from your order, is damaged, or suspect a quality defect, please contact us immediately.
If you receive a product that is different from your order, if the wine is damaged (including if the bottle has cracks or fissures), or if you suspect that the wine is of poor quality, please contact us as soon as possible. If the wine is of poor quality, we will check the condition, so please do not throw away the wine and contact us. Please note that we cannot accept returns or refunds if the wine is no longer in the bottle.
In any case, we cannot accept cancellations, exchanges, refunds or returns after 8 days have passed since the product arrived. Also, due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept refunds or returns after the bottle has been opened, unless the product is defective.
Wine does not like heat. Please store it in a wine cellar immediately. In Japan Wine Club's main cellar, the temperature and humidity are fully controlled 24 hours a day to keep wine in the best condition throughout the year. Please immediately move the wine you received to a wine cellar (10-18°C) and store it there. Please be careful that if the temperature exceeds 18°C, especially if the temperature changes drastically from low to high, even a few minutes may affect the quality of the wine. In addition, products delivered by refrigerated delivery may be affected by the temperature difference with the outside air, which may affect the wine and wine label. Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges in this case.
Aged wine is a living thing. As it ages, the color, aroma, and taste may change, and the liquid level may drop. If sediment has accumulated, leave the bottle standing for about a week to allow the sediment to settle, then open the bottle. Mold on the cork is proof that it was stored in an environment with the right temperature, humidity, and other conditions. Wipe off the mold, slowly remove the cork, and enjoy. Precautions when opening sparkling wine When opening, point the bottle in a safe direction and slowly remove the cork. Please be careful when opening the bottle as the cork may fly out due to gas pressure.
